Embodied Feminine Awakening

What does it mean to be a woman? What does it mean to be feminine?

I've asked myself these questions for years now and still not sure if I have the full answer, but I have learned some things during this time.

I have learned that there is no one way to be a woman or to embody your own feminine essence, but the way we choose to live will greatly impact how our energies balance in the body. Women, mothers in particular, have been conditioned to take on way more responsibilities around the home and in life than what is truly desired. They keep doing more and more, for everyone else, and end up lost. They lose connection with themselves because they always put themselves last, which is seen as the justified "sacrifice", but at what cost? Their needs. Their value. Their goals. And this is especially true in a household where the man is not offering authentic support, appreciation and compassion for his partner and her needs. It takes a team.

Sacrifice and compromise is not the cost of being a partner or mother. In fact, there really should be none of either, because it suggests giving up a bit of yourself or your own values for the benefit of someone else. Being workable with a partner or your child is different from sacrifice. If you are sacrificing and leaving yourself drained and exhausted, it's time to take a bigger look at all of the things you are doing and why.

We are not robots that can just keep going without it affecting our spirit. Stop pretending you are fine, and wearing masks of deceit for the world to think you are "supermom".

So where does feminine embodiment come on? I'm getting there! Just laying the groundwork for it all to make sense. I've studied meditation, yoga and many other holistic modalities for years now, and it recently just clicked as to what the "trick" is for feminine awakening...it's in the body. It's our embodiment of the vessel we are in, and the essence of who we are.

Now that sounds all well and good, but HOW do we do that? Again, something I've been working on for years, and only recently had my own a'ha moment of what it is. Movement. Meditation through movement. And you may be wondering, isn't meditation about stillness? NO! There's many different ways to meditate, and as women, and to connect with the feminine embodiment, meditation looks different.

Look at all the ancient yogic gurus and monks who meditated for hours and days on caves to practice stillness and "no mind" to reach enlightenment. They were all MEN! Now, there is nothing wrong with those practices, and they in fact can be very beneficial to the masculine energy of our bodies, however, as women, when we are stuck in masculine energy work all day, we need an embodied movement practice to feed the feminine!

I've been practicing several different movement practices for years now, like dancing, yoga, and more recently, yin and qigong. I worked as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and I was a dancer as a child and into high school. These modalities have been a part of my life for longer than I realized, and I am only now understanding the role they have played in coming full circle into this embodiment work.

So with all of that being said, I am announcing my Embodied Feminine Awakening workshop!

I will be having a LIVE zoom workshop to unveil this program, which will be followed with a Q&A. After the initial live zoom, it will be available as a recording, in an expanded workshop and course.

The Live workshop will take place on December 14th at 11am CST.

I invite you into a new generation of feminine embodied that will shift the way we mother our children, and show up in the world. A new, sovereign and confident wild woman you are meant to be. You are welcome to join the Facebook group as well to stay up to date on announcements, workshops and circles.

Love & Gratitude to You on this Journey!

Email me if you ever need more support.
